Ultimate Lyceum 1980

The UK leg of Genesis' Duke Tour came to a close in May 1980, with Phil Collins firmly established as the band's frontman. With Collins’ powerful vocals, the group had scored their first UK Top 10 hit in 1978 with Follow You Follow Me, and they repeated the feat with Duke’s lead single, Turn It On Again, two years later. The two-night stand at London’s Lyceum Theatre on 6 and 7 May 1980 was a highlight, capturing Genesis in their pop-rock glory at the beginning of the 80s, a decade that would see them transition from prog-rock pioneers into one of the world's biggest bands.
