A stunning 3CD set of Genesis' finest radio recordings is available now. Genesis was formed by Charterhouse pupils Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Peter Gabriel, and Anthony Phillips in 1968. Former pupil Jonathan King named the band, which later saw Phil Collins and Steve Hackett join in the early 70s. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, a concept album released in 1974, marked a transatlantic tour featuring an elaborate stage show. After the tour, Gabriel left Genesis in 1975, leading Collins to take over as lead vocalist. Steve Hackett's departure followed, and the band entered a successful phase. The triple disc boxed set celebrates the band's longevity, musicianship, songwriting genius, and accessibility, containing a trio of radio broadcast recordings featuring some of the band's finest concerts and cherished sessions.

The first disc features the group's show recorded in Zurich, Switzerland, on July 2nd, 1977, during their Wind and Wuthering tour, marking the last tour to include Steve Hackett. The second disc showcases their dynamic 1976 show recorded at London's Hammersmith Odeon on June 12th, during the Trick Of The Tail Tour, their first without Peter Gabriel. The set concludes on the third disc, which boasts Genesis BBC Radio Sessions recorded between 1970 and 1972, and broadcast live on Radio One.
